ATLANTA – Guardian Pharmacy Services, one of the nation’s largest long-term care (LTC) pharmacy companies, today announced that Right Dose Pharmacy, a leading independent long-term care pharmacy serving Iowa, is joining the Guardian family. This strategic partnership expands Guardian’s presence in the Midwest and is Guardian’s first venture into Iowa. The addition of these two locations in Cedar Rapids and Ankeny, located just outside of Des Moines, caps a year of stellar growth for the company which has added five new pharmacy partners in 2017.
Between its two locations, Right Dose Pharmacy serves more than 2,000 residents in assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, independent living, behavioral health and at-home patient care throughout Iowa. Rockford Anderson will continue to own and operate the pharmacy in partnership with Guardian, serving as president.

In addition to Anderson, all 24 Right Dose employees will continue to be employed at the pharmacies and the company expects to hire five additional staff members in 2018.
