Guardian Pharmacy of Atlanta recently announced the acquisition of the long-term care division of Moye’s Pharmacy in Stockbridge, Georgia and Wender & Roberts Assisted Living Pharmacy in Roswell, Georgia.
This strategic expansion caps two years of exceptional growth and positions the company to now serve group homes, assisted living and skilled nursing communities from Macon to the north Georgia state line. In addition, the acquisition:
- Increases employee base from 10 to 43 through organic growth
- Increases resident customer base by more than 112 percent and prescription volume by more than 70 percent
- Allows the pharmacy to now offer Medicine-On-Time’s multi-dose dispensing system that color codes medications by time of day, along with its other packaging options
